Summary[]
Williams converts to Islam.
Cold Open[]
Waiting at a roadblock for the Presidential motorcade, both Jones and Garcia need to pee. They finally turn and pee on the barricade. Suddenly, the President drives by while they're peeing, causing them to turn in surprise and pee on each other.
Plot[]
Raineesha is asked why she's wearing a burka. She announces that she has become a Muslim. When she says, "All Praise is due to Allah!" Travis throws himself to the ground and is congratulated by Dangle for his Homeland Security training. Raineesha calls the white man the devil, shouts, "Deal with it, Crackers!" and leaves the room.
The deputies do interviews about their views on Islam.
Dangle and Clemmie arrive at a large, loud fraternity costume party and are greeted as new contestants, "gay cop" and "slut cop". They find out the prize is $500. When Clemmie wins, Dangle fires his gun and announces the party is over.
Jones and Clemmie find Williams sound asleep while bowing to Mecca. Clemmie says she's going off to eat some bacon. Jones finds Williams' new look hot, but she refuses his advances and asks for a proper date.
Jones and Garcia harass a student driver, only to have him grab their guns and force them into the trunk because he's not having them ruin his chance to get his driver's license. He drives away in their cop car.
Dangle and Wiegel are counting a huge table-full of money from a recent bust. As Dangle is close to finishing, Wiegel keeps talking to the camera about various numbers (how long it feels they were there, how much money is in her bank account, etc.). As they strip down in the heat of the room, they get close to kissing when they suddenly tip over the card table of counted money.
Jones (dressed like Louis Farrakhan) and Williams go on their date, which turns out to be going door to door preaching the Nation of Islam to white people. They chase away Jehovah's Witnesses.
T.T. rampages through a church at her wedding when Garcia and Jones arrive. The maid of honor says that T.T. has planned this whole wedding saying she had a groom, but there wasn't one. T.T. motions to Jones and says, "The groom is here!" Chaos ensues. T.T. usually gets Garcia's stick away from him, but this time the flower girl gets it away and hurls it at the officers. The entire wedding party gets hauled off to jail.
After work at the bar, Raineesha X is asked about the arrival of her request for the month off for Ramadan and also the arrival of her tickets to a resort. She offers to explain; Dangle says, "The white devil is listening." As she removes her head covering and says she knows he won't let her go now, he says he doesn't care. She has a lot of sick leave saved up.
Behind the Scenes[]
Cedric Yarbrough and Niecy Nash provided commentary on the DVD for this episode. Observations include:
- When Cedric wants to be intimidating, he imitates Richard Pryor.
- They wonder aloud whether white people really say "brownie" in private.
- Cedric describes himself (not his character) as a nerd. Niecy describes him as "anal."
- During the wedding confrontation with T.T. (played by Nash), the flower girl is played by her own daughter. They had to stop recording at one point because she screamed for them to "let go of my mama!" Cedric calmed her down by promising to buy her a toy, which he did not do.
