 Quote[]

Wiegel: "Hypothetically speaking, you're about to get your salad tossed in prison."

Theoretical Criminal: "Oh. Okay. Well, thank God it's hypothetical."

Summary[]

Jones and Garcia must endure a tyrannical manager treating them like trainees at a burger joint that has been robbed 11 times.

Cold Open[]

Junior is about to use die marker grenades to booby-trap mailboxes to prevent teenagers from destroying them. He drops his grenade into the grenade box, setting off all of them. Teens then smash the mailbox he was standing next to.

Plot[]

Dangle asks for volunteer swim instructors for limbless children from Bosnia. Clemmie says she'd consider it if they were American children. Dangle sarcastically apologizes that there aren't a lot of US-born land mine victims and we have to import the limbless children. He then announces that the Burger Cousin joint has been hit 11 times by robbers, so Jones and Garcia will go undercover as employees to catch the thieves. Garcia is elated that he gets that wage on top of his deputy pay, but Dangle corrects him and points out that the women don't get to keep the money from prostitution when they go undercover. Trudy reveals that she actually gives the sexual favors when she's undercover.

The Theoretical Criminal stops Williams and Wiegel and says that there is a severed head of a man in the trunk of a car. If he had been the guy who did it, what would they do? He mentions that the man is 23 years old and named Jerome.

Jones and Garcia arrive at Burger Cousin to meet Rick the Manager, who berates them constantly throughout the day. He forbids them to go in the back. After numerous instances of being humiliated and chastised by Rick, they've had enough when he tells them that he had explosive diarrhea and missed the toilet entirely and they will need to clean it up. They quit and leave...at which point, he brings out the real manager and employee, tied up and gagged, to open the register for him.

Big Mike: Reports of an "angry mob" turn out to be just Big Mike with a torch and a little boy named Stuart who can barely hold a pitchfork. Big Mike says it was Stuart's idea after the Italians just moved into the neighborhood.

Kids are putting fireworks in cats anuses. Dangle and Junior are scolding the kids when Junior realizes the cat's firework is already lit. He puts the cat in a barrel of water and is splashed with water and blood.

Kimball is being given a shoulder massage by Cindy. Dangle tells Kimball, "We talked about this."

Williams and Dangle must chastise the Dominatrix for posting explicit flyers near the farmer's market. Dangle isn't making headway explaining that the kettle corn people at the farmer's market have a lot of power, but then Williams and the Dominatrix begin talking sister to sister. Dangle gently mocks the way black women get along. When they get back in the police interceptor, Dangle breaks it to Williams that the dominatrix's name is actually Jeff and they swam together back in high school, and had...used to have...the second largest cock he'd seen at the time.

Traffic stop: Junior gives a ticket to a school bus driver. This time, he successfully ducks the stop sign and runs back to the driver to scold him, but is then smacked with a side fire escape door by one of the students.

Fun with the Polygraph Machine: Dangle explains that Lady Wolfpack won and there was a large riot, so all of the usual recidivists are already in jail and it's very quiet...so they're having fun. Williams states that "Raineesha Williams" is her name. Clemmie asks whether it's true that she claimed to have her tubes tied but she's secretly planning for Jones to get her pregnant so that he'll marry her. A vociferous argument ensues. Dangle says they should have just played Boggle. Wiegel says last time they played Boggle she got a broken nose, and Dangle says that's because she was "being a cunt" last time and she punches Dangle. Dangle has to draw his weapon to restore calm.

Bridge: Clemmie and Wiegel stop a bungee wedding because that's not permitted. Clemmie recognizes the groom from when she performed at his bachelor party and he caught a boiled egg in his mouth. The bride shoves him off the bridge and then severs the bungee when he's at the bottom.

PSA[]

Dangle, en espanol, stands by a mattress in the road and tells people how to correctly transport a mattress. It is not a PSA that is ever done for English-speaking people.

Behind the Scenes[]

The Wendi and Cedric provide commentary on the DVD. Among the observations:

  • Ben Garant is a "doer" willing to undergo most anything if it's funny.
  • Despite being the heads of the show, Ben and Tom took the lesser hotel rooms so that the rest of the cast could have the good rooms when they filmed in Miami.
  • A Carl's Jr. in Long Beach CA has a man working there (at the time) who is a double for Cedric Yarbrough. Cedric hates when people tell him that he has an exact double because the person always turns out to be a hideous troll.
  • In the Homeland Security episode in Season 1, "Gordon Cartrell" was mentioned when looking through clothes in a suitcase. This was an inside joke that Niecy and Wendi worked in, as it is an old Cosby Show reference to a designer shirt that Theo Huxtable wanted.
  • Wendi is appalled by the cat being exploded as she loves orange kitties.
  • All of Wanru Tseng's scenes as Cindy the former sex slave were filmed back to back in about 90 minutes, and they were all hysterical.
  • Debra Wilson as the dominatrix really has all the tattoos.
  • Cedric hates three things: feet, cats and kettle corn. Wendi asks if he hates feet even if the woman has had plastic surgery to make them look their best. He says, "Is the surgery going to make that foot look like a boob?"
  • Cedric likes Jones wearing glasses to try to look smarter whenever he's at a computer or other device.

Notes[]

  •    It's odd that the Dominatrix gets along with Williams and not Dangle if they're old friends...but not when you consider that the actress probably isn't aware of the backstory that Tom Lennon just improv'd.
  •    "Raineesha Williams" states that as her name on the polygraph, but does that show as true or false since she supposedly changed it?
  •    NO CATS WERE HARMED OR EXPLODED IN THE FILMING OF THIS EPISODE. - Actual end credit
  •    Why did Rick the manager have to have the real manager open the register? If he couldn't open the register, how did they serve customers?
